yeah same basically, i’m constantly suffering from golden age nostalgia, and this is subjective but it doesn’t help that miura’s drawing style has also changed so drastically that it just … lacks personality. veering heavily into “it’s not perfectly suited to my tastes so i don’t like it” territory but i feel like there’s some objective truth in there. too much has changed and i’m being whiny about it

legit, like there’s no denying it has changed a lot since the golden age so it’s pretty inevitable that lots of people are going to prefer some part of Berserk over another. idt i’ve ever liked a thing without preferring some part of it over another lol, almost every show eg i’ve ever been into had some seasons i’ve hated, and while I’ve never hated any era of Berserk I’m definitely more lukewarm about some of it.
